At this special Cheetah Dash, you will get to meet world-renowned conservationist, Rebecca Klein. Not only will you have an incredible cheetah experience, but you will also hear from someone who works with cheetahs in the wild. Rebecca will share the challenges and hope of keeping this rare mammal alive in the wild in Botswana.
NOTE: Children must be at least 10 years old.

Girl Scout Wolf Howl

This evening presentation is only open to Girl Scouts. Registration is at the Reno Girl Scout office. Space is limited. Leaders are encouraged to sign up soon!
Wolf Howl Night
Saturday, June 21st, 6:00 – 8:30 PM
$12 Adults, $10 Children. Presentation Begins Promptly At 7 PM
Join us for a special evening focus on wild canids. The park opens an hour prior (6 PM) to the presentation so you may see the other residents of Animal Ark. Listen to a thirty minute presentation, hear the wolves howl and then participate in our contest with prizes to be awarded to the best human howlers.

Ark after Dark
Saturday, July 26th, 8:00 – 10:00 PM
$15 Adults, $12 Children. RSVP by July 21
Limited admission; reserve early as this event fills quickly. Wolves and coyotes howling, big cats stalking in the night, it’s after dark and the predators are in their element. Don’t snore while the tigers roar. Come join us for a starry safari around the Ark after Dark. You’ll learn about creatures of the night during group led tours.

Cheetah Challenge Adventure!

Limited seating; reserve early as this event sells out! This event is building on our annual Cheetah Challenge, and will be the event of the year!! Your ticket purchase includes, dinner, watching high speed cheetah runs, falcons in flight, a wolf howl, a raffle and more. Enjoy a fabulous evening at this fundraiser which helps the sanctuary gain funding for all of its residents.

Harvest Festival
Saturday, Oct. 11th, 10:30 AM – 3:00 PM
$12 Adults, $10 Children
As part of our behavioral enrichment program the animals will receive pumpkins filled with special goodies. Watch the enjoyment experienced by our resident animals when presented with these unique and delicious treats. Every thirty minutes to one hour, pumpkins will be delivered to different animals. Come at opening, spend the day and Oh Yeah, bring the camcorder!
